Industry Pricing Analyst

The Industry Pricing Analyst will drive Ricoh sales revenue and profit by developing and managing Guideline Pricing for Hardware, Software, Technical Service and Professional Services for all Industry Pricelists. This function includes development of Guideline pricing, through both detailed internal analysis of price performance and external analysis of competitive market price trends, maintenance of Industry Pricelists in Oracle, identification of market indicators to create additional Industry Pricelists and leadership of regular Pricing Council meetings to review performance with key leaders. In addition, the Industry Pricing Analyst will manage the Competitive Pricing Database, including regular field interaction to identify wins and losses, including price points, entry of all data into the database, analysis of trends and, ultimately, presentation to leadership on emerging threats and opportunities related to our competitors' pricing in the market.
The Industry Pricing Analyst will be the primary liaison between Strategic Pricing and cross-functional leadership teams to ensure our Industry Pricing targets align to the goals of Sales, Product Marketing, Services Marketing
Develop, maintain and perform continuous analysis on all Industry Pricelists
Engage in Market strategy planning and execution with internal Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to identify key strategies to align Industry pricing to
Lead strategic, cross functional teams, including the Pricing Council, to evaluate performance of all Industry pricelists in the market to utilize pricing, promotions, compensation or marketing adjustments to achieve specific goals of each function
Lead System enhancement projects to drive improved usage and experience with quoting systems, including methods to extract data for advanced pricing analytics
Maintain accurate price lists for each Industry that is updated in accordance with key performance indicators shared between pricing, sales and marketing teams
Load updated Industry pricing into Oracle for access by the field for quoting
Troubleshoot all Industry Pricing issues raised by the field to determine appropriate action, including education, modification or system enhancement
Perform detailed analysis of market conditions and projected price points based on market and past opportunity data
Lead Competitive Pricing projects, including engagement with Field Sales to identify won and lost opportunities, evaluate Ricoh pricing against the competition and load into a database for market analysis
Extract and analyze 3rd party data from industry sources to measure price trends and key drivers
Utilize internal and external data to provide detailed market price analytics for presentation to Executive Leadership to identify threats and opportunities to Ricoh business plans based on market dynamics
Create and maintain dashboards in various Business Intelligence tools to visualize and share key Pricing data for use by Pricing, Marketing and Sales teams to quickly understand our price positioning in the market
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
Bachelors Degree (Business, Marketing or Finance preferred) or equivalent experience
5+ years pricing or financial analysis experience
2+ years in sales or sales support, with a focus on pricing
2+ years working with Business Intelligence platforms to analyze and present data
Strong analytic skills in a financial and pricing capacity
Intermediate to Expert user of Excel, Access or similar database programs
Direct experience in managing data and databases, as well as Business Intelligence platforms
Project Management skills to create timelines and project plans for multiple projects simultaneously

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
