Sr Analyst, Pricing Tools Design

The Sr. Analyst, Pricing Design provides functional support to Pricing Operations to support Marketing, Sales and Finance strategic initiatives. Additional responsibilities include technical support, data analysis, report creation and application development. Utilizes software tools such as Access, Excel and SQL to develop, generate, and format reports, presentations and pricing applications as needed. Evaluates and re-engineers existing processes for enhanced productivity towards information dissemination to Pricing Analysts. The Sr. Analyst is responsible for implementation and maintenance of databases and pricing applications as well as creating linkage with IT into ERP systems and databases. Pricing application maintenance involves a highly technical skill set as well as the ability to develop code, macros, or reuse existing code for troubleshooting. Takes initiative to identify and resolve issues and inconsistencies around pricing data in related systems. Collaborates with Marketing and Sales to review and execute new product strategies by providing required data/tools and communication to Pricing Operations.
Develop and maintain Pricing applications, consolidated tools and databases to incorporate all pricing and data elements required for Pricing Operations
Provides advanced data analysis and report creation to meet the needs of Pricing Operations, Marketing, Sales & Finance. Data sources will be varied. Analysis and reporting tools will include but not limited to Access, SQL and OBIEE (Oracle/ERP) databases
Coordinates with Product Marketing to incorporate retail price, cost and other product details of Ricoh's direct portfolio into required pricing tools and systems
Coordinates with Technical Services to incorporate cost changes into pricing tools and systems to account for ongoing market changes
Performs detailed analysis of market conditions and projected price points (Hardware, Technical Services, and other Services) on market and past opportunity data (Gap Intelligence, BLI, IDC, etc.).
Provides assistance to end users to research data anomalies, provide technical support, and communicate process/reporting procedures.
Manage extraction of data points required to perform in depth pricing analysis.
Collects data from multiple data sources (structured & unstructured) to identify trends and key points for management review
Identifies and develops benchmarks for performance comparisons. Analyzes business and user needs and makes recommendations for process or operational improvements.
Supports various projects by acting as a project team leader and/or a project team member.
Collaborates with cross functional groups to develop, design programs and process improvements in anticipation of business needs
Works with Sr. Manager to create ad hoc reporting and analysis as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Computer Science, Economics or Engineering) or equivalent experience
5+ years Finance experience with ability to understand cost, revenue and financial planning
3+ years data analytics experience with a focus on statistical analysis (BI tools preferred)
3+ years in a pricing or sales support related position
Strong analytic skills in a financial and pricing capacity
Expert user of Excel and Access (SQL knowledge also preferred)
Comfortable working with large relational databases and data sets (structured & unstructured) in multiple formats
Strong presentation, communication and organizational skills
Direct experience with working with sales people in a pricing role
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
