Payroll Clerk

Our client is looking for a Payroll Clerk to join their team! In this role, this candidate will be responsible for semi-monthly and monthly payroll processing, building and maintaining general ledger payroll feeds, process employee questions regarding payroll, bank reconciliations, complete quarterly 941 payroll reconciliations, integration of newly acquired entities and new staff, Ad-hoc projects, and assisting with day to day operations of accounting department related to payroll. Experience required is a BS/BA or equivalent, and a minimum of 4 years in professional payroll experience. Desired skills that the candidate should possess is detail oriented, deadline driven, good time management skills, excellent problem solving skills, excellent computer skills, and a team player. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
