# Job Description
Our client is an Aerospace and Electronic company with operations in West Caldwell, NJ.
They are currently in need of a Quality Control Inspector to help with their expansion in their
QC Department. You will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical inspection for incoming parts. This is a long-term opportunity for the right candidate!
# Shifts
First Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM -3:30 PM
# Responsibilities
+ Proactively communicates errors and systemic trends to the quality organization.
+ Works from blueprints, customer drawings, engineering change notices, military standards, and established operating procedures to determine acceptance, rejection or rework requirements of assembled units or supplier components.
+ Inspection and/or testing of all production related electrical/mechanical components against established criteria
+ In-process inspection of components as defined in the manufacturing process plan.
+ Perform detailed and documented artwork and substrate inspections
+ Highest level of accuracy in visual inspections to verify physical properties.
+ Ensures the build and test manufacturing process has been completed.
+ Direct interface with cell leads.
+ Communicates errors and systemic trends to the quality organization.
+ Enters data into software tools.
+ Identifies new techniques and procedures.
+ Trains and mentors other Quality Inspectors.
+ Completes required training.
+ Able to perform any inspection assignment, with occasional supervision.
+ Provide needed support and information to customers (e.g. Host Source Inspections, Complete Surveys, etc).
+ Schedules and completes internal audits as needed.
+ Drives Quality and Process continuous improvement
+ Other responsibilities as assigned.
# Minimum Requirements:
+ 2+ years of related inspection experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
+ High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
+ Pass eye exam (visual acuity).
+ Ability to work long hours looking into a microscope.
+ Skilled in the use of measurement tools and ESD procedures.
+ Demonstrated experience proactively identifying errors and systematic trends.
+ Demonstrated ability to follow complex work instructions.
+ Demonstrated experience in an environment that requires attention to detail and focus.
+ Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficient with MS Office.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
