Order Fulfillment Planner

Reporting to the Inventory Planning Manager, theOrder Fulfillment Planner will support key functions including Sales, Customer Relations and Operations by developing resource plans and associated commitment dates for all customer orders in which required materials are needed. In addition, the Order Fulfillment Plannerwill be instrumental in managing Customer Project-based orders and be responsible for analyzing and forecasting of components for manufactured items.
Materials and capacity resource planning for all manufactured items in backlog.
Owner of commitment date process between the customer and Company Works closely with Sales, Customer Relations, Customers and Suppliers in managing planning and execution of Project-Based orders
Evaluate alternative Bill of Materials, products and related needs when meeting customer demands.
Expedites materials when alternative solutions are needed
Monitors assigned metrics
Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management or related degree
Knowledge of the lighting industry strongly preferred
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a prior role involving planning, inventory, purchasing and/or project management
Technical proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced analytical and math skills
Detail-oriented, resourceful and great communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
