QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
NJ Dept.
of Education Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) certification OR Standard or CEAS or CE:
Teacher Of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) with an Elementary Ed K-6, Middle school, or subject area certification, preferably Science or ELA Maintain high standards for teaching and learning Ability to plan and deliver individualized and group lessons based on student assessment data Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people by speaking and writing Ability to collaborate with a team of teachers, related service providers, and families Possess a strong willingness to learn and actively participate in professional development Contribute to a positive school climate Possess advanced classroom management and behavior modification skills Successful experience working with teens and young adults on the autism spectrum Knowledge of ABA preferred, not required All candidates are required to complete a criminal history check and provide proof of U.
