Summary:
This position is fixed at the Caldwell Wastewater Treatment facility in Caldwell, NJ, headquartered in Hillsborough, NJ and serving NSU NJ Operations.
The operator is an independent well organized self-starter able to manage his/her own time to complete assigned tasks in their given allotted time.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Perform critical testing of facility operations, such as PH, dissolved oxygen, chlorine, etc.
, in order to monitor system condition Perform general preventative maintenance on treatment plant equipment such as blower oil, filter and belt changes pulling and inspecting submersible pumps, etc.
Maintain complete, accurate, legible records of all phases of facility operations Maintain complete, accurate, legible records of all equipment and plant maintenance Assist to prepare monthly written operating report based on facility's operation and/or maintenance records for the client, employer or regulatory agency as required Inform Supervisor in a timely manner of plant problems, upsets, plant expansion, repairs, etc.
Work conscientiously, adhere to EH&S policies and processes, and be aware of safety hazards Participate in 24 hour on call rotation Be prepared to discuss in a professional manner the plant operations with employer, client, visitors or regulatory personnel Collect required samples, log in samples correctly and accurately, and submit samples to laboratory and review results to ensure permit compliance Operate plants to meet all regulatory guidelines and responsibilities Assist maintenance personnel with pump, blower, motor, valve, etc.
removal Maintain accurate records for gasoline, mileage, timesheets, expenses, etc.
Work scheduled weekends and occasional holidays for assigned route Project a positive image to operators, clients, regulatory agencies, engineers, etc.
Confined Space Entry - this may be required on occasion after thorough training provided by NSU Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older1 year of wastewater experience, preferred 40 hour work week:
Monday - Friday, 7:
00am - 3:
30 pm (30 minute lunch) Must be available to work weekends and holidays as requested Overtime as required Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
Driver's License NJ Wastewater license S1 required S2 preferred CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
