Planning Reports To:
Director of Master Scheduling Inventory Manager Position Purpose and Objectives In this role, you will provide analytical support and partner cross-functionally to assess and proactively improve our Inventory practices.
Inventory Manager Essential Job Functions Utilize SAP, Power BI, and Excel to assess the quality of our existing inventory and identify actions to reduce our excess and obsolete.
Perform analyses to identify the root cause of excess and obsolete and provide recommendations for how to prevent going forward.
Facilitate the bi-weekly cross-functional meeting to align actions and ensure traction.
Facilitate a new material review board process to address how to handle excess bulk, as soon as it is created.
Help manage our offerings with an online ingredients' provider.
Provide analytical support to inform procurement practices such as ABC analysis, recommending safety stock settings, identifying MOQ concerns, etc.
Monitor KPI targets and provide root cause commentary and corrective actions.
Monitor and recommend changes to scrap rates.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required A minimum of three to five years of professional business experience is required, preferably in Inventory Management or Supply Chain Planning.
Intermediate proficiency in SAP.
Willingness to learn Power BI.
Intermediate skills in Excel, including pivot tables and V or X lookups.
Analytical and critical thinking skills.
Meeting facilitation experience in garnering cross-functional buy-in.
Mature and professional communication with peers internal and external to department.
